Paseos and Arbor Villages Summerlin

Both The Paseos and The Arbors in Northern Summerlin are essentially residential neighborhoods with the many parks, playgrounds, pools and trails common to all the Summerlin Villages.  Each however has its distinctive character.

Las Vegas Vista Village street and homes

Homeowners in The Arbors Village enjoy a sense of being high above the Las Vegas Valley.  Many homes have views that are especially spectacular at night
And being over 1,000 feet higher than the Strip, this Village is relatively cooler.

The Arbors Village is on a hillside above the Trails Village and there really is a sense of soaring above Las Vegas.  Many of the homes have been sited to take advantage of the amazing citylights views.  Even the large community park overlooks the entire Las Vegas Valley.

The 215 Beltway is at the western edge of The Arbors and gives residents easy access to other parts of the Las Vegas Valley.  Only resale homes are available now.

Begun in 2003, The Paseos is on the west side of the 215 Beltway at the entrance to Red Rock Canyon in the Spring Mountains.  Like The Vistas village adjacent to it, The Paseos is at about 3000 feet in altitude and is definitely cooler–as much as 10 degrees cooler in summer–than the lower areas of the Las Vegas Valley.

Earth tones and dark tile roofs are characteristic of many homes in The Paseos Village.  The cloudy sky is a result of the start of the summer monsoon season.

Many homes in The Paseos take their architectural inspiration from the old Spanish Hacienda and Mission styles. The landscaping contains all drought-tolerant plants, so upkeep and irrigation costs are relatively low.
