Las Vegas County Club Living

If the Country Club life–with private golf courses, swimming and fitness facilities, tennis courts, and clubhouses within gated communities–is your dream, look no further.  There are many country club communities within the city.

Note: as the cost of maintaining golf courses has increased, some–but not all–of the golf courses are now open to the public. Residents receive discounted rates.

  • Red Rock Country Club – a guard-gated private golf club community in Summerlin at the gateway to the spectacular Red Rock Canyon. All homes are single family residences and some have won architectural awards.
  • Anthem County Club – a guard-gated community on the hilltops to the South of Las Vegas.  No condos or townhomes. The 18 hole golf course was designed by Hale Irwin and Keith Foster.
  • Southern Highlands.  A luxurious country club community in the far southwest part of Las Vegas.  The first nine holes of the golf course are complete, as is the gorgeous clubhouse.  The home sites surrounding the golf course are relatively large, for Las Vegas.
  • Canyon Gate Country Club – on the west side, near Summerlin.  This guard-gated community of single family homes — some upscale production homes, some luxury custom homes–has an intimate feeling.   The 18 hole golf course ranks among the best in Las Vegas.
  • Spanish Trail Country Club – built in the 1980s, located between Summerlin and The Strip. Homes range from large luxury homes to charming townhomes facing the golf course. Guard-gated with extremely high security. Only resale homes. The 27 hole golf course was designed by Robert Trent III.
  • Las Vegas Country Club – an long-established guard-gated country club community near The Strip.  Includes larger single family homes, townhomes, executive-style apartments, and a highrise condominium tower.
  •  Lake Las Vegas – a super-luxury resort community in the southeast Las Vegas Valley.  It is unique–combining a Mediterranean ambiance with golf and other country club amenities, along with a Yacht and Beach club on the South shore for members. The Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course is ranked 2nd best in Las Vegas.
  • Dragon Ridge – in Henderson not far from Sun City Anthem and the Anthem Country Club. The golf course is open to the public.

Additionally, there are other guard-gated communities here in Las Vegas that offer you many of the amenities one expects in a country club.

    • Tournament Hills – in Summerlin, perhaps the most prestigious address in Las Vegas.  Luxury estate-size homes in this guard-gated neighborhood are large and prices range from one million dollars and up. Some homes face onto the TPC golf course.
    • Eagle Hills – in Summerlin
    • Scotch 80s – near The Strip with older homes and tree lined streets
    • Rancho Bel Air – near The Strip
    • Country Club Hills – in Summerlin
    • Canyon Fairways – in Summerlin
