Vistas Village Summerlin Las Vegas

Las Vegas Clock Tower Vista Village
This clock tower is in a large community park in the northern part of The Vistas Village.  In the southern section of this village there is an identical tower and park.  Both have become new Las Vegas landmarks.

The Vistas Village, located on the west side of the 215 Beltway, is one of the highest villages in Summerlin.  At about 3000 ft. it is also significantly cooler than other parts of the Las Vegas Valley.  During summer the temperature here is about 10 degrees F. lower than the temperature on The Strip.

In the photos on this page, the sky has clouded over with the beginning of the summer monsoon rain season. The “monsoon” in Las Vegas, however, is not the drenching rainfall one sees in India. Only 4 inches of rain fall through the entire year. Most of those 4 inches fall in summer.

The Vistas also has amazing views of the Spring Mountains and the Valley.  And, as with all Villages in Summerlin, there are large community parks and an extensive trail system.

Las Vegas Vista Village street and homes

In newer neighborhoods in Summerlin the homes have greater architectural variety as well as varied colors.  The homes on this street in The Vistas are a good example of European influenced homes.

2 miles down the 215 beltway from the Vistas Village is a major shopping center on Charleston.

Las Vegas Vista Village condos (

Not far from the North Clock Tower Park are new condos available for sale.  The colors of the buildings echo the colors of Red Rock Canyon in the distance behind them.
