Why you can trust this website’s information
Full Disclosure: Back when I was a real estate broker I developed this website to help newcomers learn more about the variety of neighborhoods in the Las Vegas Valley. I no longer work in real estate, but have left this site up because it is more comprehensive than most house-hunting sites in Vegas. I’d strongly suggest you check out many of the neighborhoods on this site even if you have to do it on your own. Don’t let a real estate agent rush you into a new development on the outskirts of the city when a more established, more centrally located neighborhood could be far better for you.
Las Vegas Valley Map
It is approximately 15 miles from The Strip to the edge of the map. North is to the right.
The Most Affluent Neighborhoods in Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Review Journal published a report on the wealthiest neighborhoods in Las Vegas. No surprises here. The Northwest (west of the 95 Freeway) ranked Number One. Summerlin was close behind as were two areas of the Southwest near the very exclusive Spanish Trail Country Club.
In the Southeast part of the Las Vegas Valley, Henderson West, which includes Anthem, Sun City Anthem, and Seven Hills, along with some sections of Green Valley are also affluent neighborhoods.
Las Vegas Valley home and condo prices have been rising fast, but it is a still a great time for buyers.
